Privacy Policy for SonicFix

This Privacy Policy describes how SonicFix ("the Application", "we", "our") handles user information and device permissions.

1. Zero Personal Data Collection (100% Offline)

SonicFix is designed with a privacy-first, zero-knowledge architecture. We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data, identifiers, device usage logs, or browsing history to any remote server.

2. Device Permissions Usage

The Application requests only the essential hardware permissions required to provide its core utility functions:

• Audio Recording (RECORD_AUDIO): Used exclusively in the Diagnostics screen to calculate real-time decibel (dB) levels and sound pressure from the speaker. Audio is processed strictly in volatile memory (RAM) and is NEVER recorded, saved, or uploaded to any server.
• Vibration (VIBRATE): Used to generate micro-vibration pulses synchronized with audio sweeps to physically dislodge water droplets and dust particles from the device's speakers.
• In-App Purchases / Billing (com.android.vending.BILLING): Used by the official Google Play Billing Library to process one-time purchases for the optional SonicFix Pro upgrade. All payment processing is securely handled by Google Play.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertisements

The Application may use third-party monetization libraries that collect anonymized technical information in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

• Google AdMob: Used to display non-intrusive advertisements in the free tier. Google AdMob may use device advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID) to deliver relevant ads. For more information, please review the Google Privacy & Terms.
• Google Play In-App Billing: Used for secure payment processing. We do not store or have access to your credit card or financial details.

4. Children's Privacy

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
